This is a fantastic product and the price cant be beaten. Great for downloading HD programmes and playing them through your HDTV

I purchased my MacBook Pro in April 2010. I needed to plug it in to my TV and I wanted picture and sound (who doesn't?). There isn't a lot I can say about this product to be honest except that it works exactly as advertised and seems durable enough. It took 2 minutes of fiddling about when first plugged in but that was more to do with my inexperience with extending displays!
In summary, if you're looking to get your MacBook displayed on your TV with audio using HDMI, don't hesitate in buying this cable!

This product works perfectly giving both sound and video. To enable sound on you Macbook Pro i5 model you must go to settings and enable audio output otherwise it will not give sound. Remeber this works on 2010 models only! This is also the cheapest and I would avoid going to Apple store paying excess amount. ps it was advised by Apple themselves.

I've coupled this to a Neet HDMI cable and splitter box to drive a TV and projector, which all works beautifully.
