If you have a PC monitor and wish to bring it up to HD quality (Especially if you have a tv connector) Then this is well worth the money. It mentions on the specifics for this cable that it works for xbox 360 etc but really it doesn't as where the cable connects into the back of the xbox it just wont fit. This is specifically for your computer so if you want a HD cable for half the normal price then I would get this one.

For its relatively low price in comparison to some of these cables, this is a very good cable that produces a very good clean and crisp image playback. The cable itself is not to long and it is very well made, giving it a very durable appearance and feel. The Amazon logo on the product looks very professional and not at all tacky and it actually adds to the quality of the product. I have not used my cable on a regular basis, so cannot comment on its shelf life as such, but needless to say I have had it for a while now and it is still doing a very good job when it is used.

The item itself is good quality and the packaging is much better.
But be careful if this fits the DVI socket on your desktop/laptop.
There are various types of DVI socket(DVI-I/DVI-D to name a few).
As far as I know, this is a DVI-I type which is what I had at the back of my laptop.
I purchased this and have tried to use this cable to connect to my Sony Bravia 40W5810 from my laptop with mixed results.
My laptop has Windows 7 so this might be due to the drivers but I had the same results when I tried using a laptop on Vista.
So main points...
1. Good product and packaging
2. Good quality product
3. Cannot do a plug-play to my tv as expected, always end up messing with my laptop display controls to get it to work
but sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.Now I have figured out a way of getting it but still its not straightforward.
Do not know, if this is the tv or laptop or for that matter the cable itself.
Therefore 4 starts, until I find a easy way to connect using this cable.

The cable came to the house on the alloted date but wasn't able to connect as i don't have a laptop which has the correct amount of pin holes... would have been better if it was explained more about what laptops it can connect to and which ones it can't.

There is not really much I can say about this product other than for a basics range product, it is a great quality lead. It really does come in frustration-free packaging so no wrestling with plastic packaging. Just plug it in an off you go!!

A great piece of kit in cash strapped times.
