Product Description DIGA DVD / VHS Recorder with 250GB HDD & Freeview+. By interpolating video data using proprietary algorithms, SD format data is up-converted to 1080 x 1920p HD format video data. This conversion to HD format increases the richness of the original data by approximately six fold, and produces the highest possible image quality when viewing content on a large-screen HDTV. Enjoy watching crisper and sharper video enabled by detailed reproduction of content on DVD and Hard disk drive. Colour reproduction that is faithful to the original picture, produces colourful in details.

A Majic Recorder September 3, 2010 Mr. John Houghey (Durham U.K.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
In my 40 plus years of having a TV and recording films I must say that this
Panasonic DMR-EX99ebk Vidio/dvd recorder is without doubt the best recorder that I have ever had. The instruction manual takes a bit of reading but as I have a degree in electronics I found it easy enough to understand. A good machine and well worth the money.
a combi dvd/hdd/video machine that does all the tricks for you! August 16, 2010 Mr. R. R. Moore (England, Europe) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
brilliant machine which is a real gizmo with brains! Does everything what it says on the box, and with minimum fuss too!!! Noticed though slight loss of quality when writing to the hdd in EP mode, but if you do not intend to keep the recording for crystal clear pristine quality, then the EP mode is excellent for day-to-day HDD/DVD recording for your own personal use or library. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MACHINE.
Recorder with everything! August 15, 2010 dotty (Suffolk England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I cannot rate this product too highly, I set it up for a friend of mine who's VHS had broken, she wanted something that would record from the television, watch DVD's and still be able to watch her VHS tapes. With this she can record straight to the hard drive or blank DVD or a VHS tape. I was so impressed with this product that I brought myself one. It is a breeze to set up and a joy to use, it is just so easy and simple to use. First rate product. I am now trying to talk my other teckno phobic friends to buy one!
m j barker August 14, 2010 Mr. M. J. Barker (Sedgeford Norfolk England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Arrived OK. Programed OK.In use very flexible. Does what I wan't, but I should have purchased Saterlite version in retrospect.
A first class product August 13, 2010 John Asquith (Norwich UK) I bought this machine one week ago so a review now may look a little premature. However, I am so enthusiastic about this product that I decided to get my praises for it going straight away.
I have tested all the playback and recording functions for VHS/DVD/HDD formats and the results are excellent. Do not be put off by the size and complexity of the instruction book - just simply look up the particular function which you wish to perform and take it from there.
The machine is expensive but for a product of this class it really is worth the price.
