This USB repeater cable is more than just an extension. Ideal for those hard to reach USB sockets. Example is a Humax HD PVR has a USB socket on the back that enables the connection of a HDD, No more pulling the box forward to connect and disconnect external devices, just connect this cable and bring it to the front. I should even tuck away neatly out of sight when not in use. Also the same applies to PC's only having Rear USB Ports. Connect a 3G Dongle to your Laptop but always catching it on your knee, Avoid bending the USB connector, simply use this cable to connect to the laptop and plug your 3g broadband dongle into the repeater socket. Now you have a flexible antenna. Also good as an extension lead of course.

This is not an ACTIVE repeater cable but a simple (expensive) extension cable. It is incapable of repeating the attenuated signal as it has no electronic amplifier.
If more than one of these cables is connected in series it won't work.
If you need a lengthy connection from your computer - in my case to a remote camera - give this one a miss.
