My wife got me the humax hd_fox t2 for my birthday presentit was ideal for my set up .Just to be able to watch hd on the panasonic tv in my cinema room. just to plug the aerial into the humax box and the HDMI connection fromthat to my tv and let it tune in perfect ,just like the HD pictures are to as well .

Great bit of kit and great picture.
Others have commented on the default setting which switches the box off after a period, no problem once you have changed it in settings but a bit of a shock when it happens and inconvenient if you have just got to the punchline.
One bad point for me is that I can not program the TV and DVD buttons on the remote control to operate those devices, using the Humax codes printed in the user manual. It would be a great help to get rid of two other remote controls from the coffee table. Humax were very unhelpful.

If you have Freeview HD available in your area then this is a great product.
Looks great and is working 5mins after getting it out the box.

Easy to install and operate. Instructions in the booklet are quite clear. Use of the box gives a marked improvement in the quality and detail of the picture; it was a unique experience watching horse racing and being able to see the jockey's silks fluttering in the breeze, and in Wildlife from Wales, the detail from around Snowdonia was amazing

Brilliant, so simple to set up and well worth buying. Only problem is the lack of HD programmes to watch!! Tell the programme makers to hurry up and make more HD programmes.
