Fits into the car securely, simple to detach screen from the mount when you leave the car.
Nice size screen, with touch control bar below which is very easy to use.
TV works well. Excellent picture, decent blacks and colours and handles quick movement really well. Sound too is very good, even on full volume.
Lots of nice features, card slot, usb & 2x headphone jacks.
Play's avi files from sd card and usb's ok. Not tried divx yet.
If i'm really picky the only moan i have is there's no cary case/bag, but i'm not marking it down for that.
Found it at £150 on another site which is a bargin, punches above its weight in terms of features, picture and sound.

We recently purchased this for our campervan and couldn't have been more pleased. I must admit after reading reviews for all portable dvd/freeview players I was half expecting to have paid a lot for a dvd player, but as soon as I got it I plugged in the portable aerial and bingo freeview tv! We took it away for our first weekend and did camp in the middle of nowhere and it still found some channels. Picture quality and sound excellent.

I bought this product primarily as a portable TV and assumed that it would actually function as such. According to the manufacturer's description the product comes with "the very best splash proof portable aerial on the market to ensure that you can get the very best reception". My experience is different. I live in a Freeview area yet no matter how hard I have tried (i.e. sticking the aerial out of several windows on the top floor of my house and scanning for channels many times) I can't even pick up a single digital channel. As far as analog channels are concerned, I can just about get an acceptable picture for BBC1 and ITV (with good, clear sound) but the other channels are so grainy and distorted I can't actually work out what they are.

The documentation is very poor as well - it's incomplete and badly written. The controls on the front of the device are also not intuitive. For instance, the channel controls are side by side...you would think that pressing the right hand button would switch up one channel but it actually takes you down one channel. The panel also looked scratched when I unpacked it - I don't care too much about that but it makes the unit look second-hand.

On the plus side, the DVD player works fine and the sound quality is good. Also, SOVOS Customer Service responded immediately via email to my comment about poor reception on the online registration card, suggesting that I their support team to see if they could help improve the aerial perfomance - so at least they pay attention to customer feedback.

I bought one of these as a small TV for my kitchen and am astounded by how good it actually is. Setting up was so easy and the picture quality is very good. I put the aerial that comes with it on top of my kitchen units and have got absolutely loads of freeview channels - far more than I expected.
I have taken it in the car and the signal shanges everytime you go round a bend so I have just used the DVD player when moving and the TV at coffee stops. It is superb
